CIVIL RIGHTS CASES BASED ON WRONGFUL CONVICTION - Civil Rights and Criminal Defense Attorney

The Chicago Cun-Times reports Chicago taxpayers will spend $12.3 million to compensate two more exonerated inmates who assert they were tortured into false confessions by former Lieutenant Jon Burge. This brings the total settlements expected to be approved for police abuse and misconduct cases this year to at least $77 million.

An interlock is a breath alcohol testing device that is installed on your vehicle. In order to start your vehicle, a breath sample must be blown into the interlock device. If the interlock detects any alcohol, the engine will not start. As you drive your vehicle, you will periodically be required to provide breath samples to ensure there is no alcohol in your system as you drive.
